They say that one of the secret to a happy relationship is to never stop dating each other. Yes, I’m aware of how tough it’s been for many to be quarantined with their partners for weeks on end. Trust me, I’ve seen the memes. With what’s going on with the world it’s been tough trying to think of date night ideas.

With places starting to open back up, I’m sure a lot of you are dying to go out there and do something fun with your significant others. Here’s a fun date night idea for when you’re ready to leave the house and have a much deserved date night.

What is Painting with a Twist?

It’s basically a painting party with a twist. That twist being you get to sip wine while painting along with the instructor.

But you’re not a good artist, you say?

That’s not a problem at all! That’s not even the point. I think the idea is to try your hands at it and have fun. It depends on where you go but they will usually have a theme for the night. The night that I went, it happened to be Lion King. My boyfriend and I both love the Lion King, so it was perfect.

What did I think?

I honestly love the concept. The instructions are easy to follow, and they even provided stencils for the parts of the painting that might be a little complicated.

They provide you with the canvas, brushes, paints, and of course wine. At the end of it all, you get to go home with your paintings for keepsake.
