I am FINALLY posting about our visit to Otherworld in Columbus, Ohio. So since the travel side of my blog is looking rather empty, I figure I need to start making more content on this subject. Beside the usual lifestyle and blogging posts, this blog is about sharing my journey to living a happy life, and I definitely find that through travel. Even though this year hasn’t really been the most ideal time to do it, at least I have plenty of memories I can share in the meantime until it’s a good time again to travel.
If you are looking for things to do in Columbus, Ohio, I highly recommend this interactive museum. Otherworld is the perfect name for this museum because as soon as you step foot inside, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported into another world. The immersive art displays will satisfy all of your senses and will leave you in awe.

The building exterior doesn’t seem like much and the plaza it was located in was pretty empty when we went. Honestly thought the area was abandoned. Do not be fooled though…the outside might look deceiving, but just wait until you get inside. The creative artists did an amazing job taking you through their imagination and bringing the experience to life.
This art installation was made possible through the collaboration of over 40 artists. These creative artists did an amazing job taking you through their imagination and bringing that experience to life.
There are plenty of photo ops inside but the area is generally dark with tons of led lights. When exploring the exhibit, make sure to pay attention to the hidden areas, some you might have to crawl through!

This looks like so much fun! I have been to Columbus many times (it’s close enough for a quick weekend getaway for us) but I had no idea that Otherworld existed. I am definitely adding this to my list of places to visit when the borders reopen and we are able to spend some time there again.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
